Tea Trail Walking and Scenic Hikes

A relaxing stroll or an adventurous hike is a wonderful way to experience the valleys and mountains, bountiful birdlife and the simple way of life in a Sri Lankan hill country. Take in beautiful tea fields, forests and temples. A guide can be provided or follow one of our mapped routes.

Swimming Pool

There is a 20 metres pool with an infinity edge overlooking beautiful scenery – the pool sits within a partially walled garden, giving you complete privacy. There are a number of different areas in which to sit and enjoy the surroundings, along with a table that can seat up to fourteen people. Lying by the pool, you can appreciate the abundant birdlife, playful monkeys and, occasionally, an elephant wandering by.   ​

Bird Watching

The property is a treasure trove for anyone interested in bird watching. There are many wonderful species in the area including the Red-vented Bulbul, Ceylon Hanging Parrot (Endemic), Crested Serpent Eagle, Oriental Magpie Robin, Purple Sunbird, Yellow-fronted Barbet (Endemic) and the Jungle Crow.

For your enjoyment we can provide the equipment for, and also set up, the following games - Croquet, Badminton, Boules, Quoits and Table Tennis.

We have an extensive selection of fun board games, including Backgammon, Monopoly, Battleship, Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit.
